I hope somebody can help.  If there's anyone here who has had experience of stopping Cyproterone Acetate, how quickly did your testosterone return, and how soon did you notice the effects of T returning?

I have never used a blocker so I don't know the answer but to some degree it would depend on how long you were on the drug and how much your testicles have shrunk in size. Your production might start low and slowly ramp up as your testicles return to their original size. This might be a good question to ask your endo.

It is unclear if you are asking because you wish to stop transitioning effects entirely or if there is some reason you are considering a temporary cessation and wondering about 'grace period'.

My first go around with HRT found me using Spiro and I was on it for 6+ months.  I chose to stop for family reasons and as I was not under the care of an endo, I did it "cold turkey".  This is NOT the way to do it, but for that...it took about 6 months for everything to sort itself out and another 6 months before things started to act normally 'down there'.

My GP kept an eye on me as he was aware of what I had been using and how I had stopped.  I would recommend getting in to your endo or doctor and speaking with them about the best way and what you can expect in terms of time frames.

I'll try to word this in a way that doesn't step on the dosage/self med rules here.

Cypro plays with the adrenal gland very hard; abrupt changes are flat out dangerous.  If you are stopping you'll need to do it somewhat gradually. Even if you were to be simply changing from one AA to another, say moving from Europe/Asia to the US.   So talk to your doc about the rate to reduce dosage.

I have stopped AA once for a blood test; 2 weeks and most of the nightmare was back in my head, by the forth I was in as bad of shape as the day before I started HRT in the first place.   And my levels aren't that high to start with (T below 500; though my natural Estradiol is an insane 140+ lol..)

This rate of return will likely be dependent upon how long you've been taking an AA, as well as lots of individual factors.
