My estradiol levels were just posted by the lab.  In May, prior to starting HRT but post orichiectomy, my estradiol level was 5.7 pg/ml.  Tests from last Friday showed estradiol level of 80.2 pg/ml.  I'm not sure where those levels are in reference but I should see my endocrinologist at SCC on Tuesday so I can ask.

Congratulations you are now all the way in womanhood. Menopause tops out at 60 and a transition level would be 100-200 though most doctors attempt to get as close to 200 as possible. My levels are 51 and I am developing faster than ever before so you should be feeling and seeing results.

Oh, I am feeling and seeing results alright.  Using the totally scientific method of grabbing a handfull, my wife says I have grown a cup size.  As far as feeling, I leaned over to kiss her goodnight, pressed myself against my arm and I felt the pain!

My Endo tells me that my estradiol number is 257 and that is a good place and my Testostrone is less than 20 which she also so is good.  Your numbers sound a little low from what I know.  I guess the question is how long do you want to take to transition and if you are not seeing an endo, I would surely recommend it.  My Therapist recommended me to my endo and she is so Trans Friendly and caring.  Good Luck.  Samantha

I do have an endocrinologist who actually does occasional training around the county for other endocrinologists regarding hormone therapy for trans people.  We talked a week ago about possible increase and he said we would look at it when the results were back.  He's in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend until Wednesday doing some training at Southern Comfort Conference so I should see him Tuesday when I get there.  As far as timing, he asked me that question when I saw him the first time.  I told him I'm 67 years old, I don't have a lot of time to waste.  LOL

Hi Beverly,

My tests taken six weeks post orchiectomy and on a fasting trough reading were 74 pg/ml, so very similar.
T was almost non existent. That's something I just love about the orchie: no more AA's nor worrying about the T level.

Well just got the word from my endocrinologist, he's doubling my dosage to increase my levels.
