I gave up smoking about 10 years ago and during a check up at the doctors was asked to do a spirometry test, after which the doctor told me I had very mild COPD. I've had to do the test each year since and it's got better and better. I've never needed any puffers or other medication. The doctor now says the reading is so good that there's no way it would have been COPD as lung performance couldn't have improved by that margin. She says it may have been a bit of asthma. The irritating thing is that the whole COPD thing caused an awful lot of stress. It wasn't as if I was told 'you might have COPD' it was 'you do have COPD'. Why would they have been so certain at the time in terms of telling me I had it?  ???

I can't honestly tell you, but I can say that 90℅ of my allergies and most of my PTSD went away after I began HRT. Whether from the reduction in stress or the change in body chemistry I can't say. Perhaps it's the same with your "COPD".
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.
