I went quiet there for a bit, but I am semi back now. I moved out. Semi living like my true self. Still in the closet to most people. Kinda waiting for the right moment to ask some people to start referring to me with male pronouns and male name.

Hopefully see how things go next month. I am getting a binder next week. Got a packer. Things are going well there. Dressing more masculine.

I am at this weird point where I feel more confident and happy because I am free to live how I want or at least getting there...but I also feel depressed over my still feminine form. I am getting there though.

Hey there TX,

Congrats on moving out! I hope there wasn't any additional drama between moving out and your last update.

IME, it was very easy to become depressed early on. For most of us, especially in the early stages, transition is really dictated by "the powers that be" - ie. have to find a friendly therapist, have to have X number of sessions before you'll get a referral, have to find a friendly doctor, have to meet with them X times and take X, Y, Z tests before they'll prescribe, etc. It's tough when there's so little about the situation that you're in control of.

Appearance changes are one of the few things we can control early on. I think you're headed in the right direction with binding, packing, and wardrobe changes. As far as helping your body along in the mean time, cardio can help reduce body fat deposits and may help change your shape a bit.

Glad you're in a better position now!

I'm glad things are working out for you right now and you have some room to get your head straight. Btw, where did you get your avatar image (or did you create it yourself)?

I'm trying to stay positive, but life does drag me down sometimes. Things are looking way up though. I hope they continue to go forward.

I found a transgender support group here and they meet weekly. Best part is that they are right down the road from me. Hoping to check them out.

Anxiety, I created the image. :)
