OutsideMe

This will be the first session with my third therapist. The first therapist I saw when I was 20 years old. It only took the one session with her to scare me back into myself. A couple years later I saw my second therapist for at least half a dozen sessions. But after my seemingly supportive Ex cheated on me (claiming she needed a real man) I quickly repressed to now.

So, in two weeks I have my first session with a new therapist. As with the first and second time. I am again feeling nervous. I do not know if I need to transition, or what the future holds. But I am glad to take these first steps.

Glad to see you taking this step. I think it is important. Not thinking of them as gatekeepers. It is about helping you navigate all the confusion and questions you might have. Doing it in a safe way.

Congratulations.

With warmth,

Joanna

Thank you Joanna.

I have a lot of confusion. And I am both excited to have someone to talk to about it. And as I said, super nervous.
