There's an age limit on mini-skirts??   :o  Damn!  I really did leave this too late!

If at 30+ you still wear a mini skirt, then good luck to you but any reasonable adult would know better. I mean the 1980s ended when I was being born so it is a fashion choice I gladly missed  :-\

A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting

I may rock a mini skirt - with some cute tights underneath!

I live across the street from a Big Ten  University. I couldn't do it mainly because my legs are to messed up , but I also wouldn't do it because I'd look ridiculous walking along side of 18 year olds also wearing mini skirts . There is nothing wrong with expressing yourself  , but I think if I tried that walking along side a group of sorority girls I'd make the school newspaper.

I'm not going to wear miniskirts after my cremation is done.

Don't know. On my list of things to try next summer ;-)

I'm sitting in a Starbucks across the street from the University and there are a lot of short skirts being worn by all ages so maybe it's not that big of deal any more.

I feel that, if your body is hot enough to rock that miniskirt, go for it. Even at 50, I can still rock it... but look better in maxi skirts.

I'd rather do pencil skirts , but I need to get rid of my tummy

Skater skirts may be a good alternative - longer than a mini skirt and shorter than a pencil skirt... agree with Stephanie on the pencil skirts

Ok, Now this is way to short no matter what your age is! Yikes!!

And this is one of my fave Fall work outfits,

A lot of it is the when and the where in addition to the who.

I've been told I have nice legs but I'm also 6'3" so not a lot of where available to this just being transition girl. That's aside from my age of 54, though in guy mode I've been told I look about 10 years younger.

The skater skirt type and length are great though but my knees aren't messed up as you said yours were.

It is really up to you and how you want to present yourself. A miniskirt with tights gives you a slightly more sophisticated look.

At some point as we age and wear "younger" clothes, we do attract some attention and not all of it good, but it is really about your comfort level and nobody else.

Yeah but if I were 22 and had those legs I'd find somewhere to wear that.

I love that fall look also.  Very cute style.

there is no age, it depends on your appearance.. some may never wear mini skirt at all

I remember being 18 in the 60's when mini skirts were great. My only problem is that I had no clue that I would ever enjoy wearing one. Now that I am 68 I love my mid calf length skirts and when on vacation in southern climates I get bold and go for an inch or so above the knee and wish that I had known Anne when age appropriate mini's would have worked for me.

Age not really an issue tbh as I judge more by how it looks. Everyone free to do what they want of course but for me there are definite limits.

At 38 I'll only go as high as mid thigh until after surgery before I'll even consider higher. Usually sport a pencil or skater but even my A line denim mini still maintains what I would deem to be an appropriate level of decency.

If you've got the body, the confidence and the desire go for it. The rest of the outfit has to work though but that goes without saying.

Age as they say is just a number and I actually look a lot younger now than I did 10-15 years ago.

At no age because I would have never chosen to wear one in the  first place. Hugs
