StephanieC, the moment I heard that Trump had won (at first I thought it was a Google tease- I restarted my computer twice before I could believe it) I thought of a quote from Winston Churchill. I had the nerve top bring it up to date and here it is. If you think it's inappropriate or doesn't apply ascribe it to the fact that this is my first post to any of the forums after my introduction.
By the way- I love all the topics you start. They're all informative and some are entertaining. Keep it up, please!
"Trump knows that he will have to break us. If we can stand up to him, all America may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.
Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the United States of America lasts for a thousand years, our descendants will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'"
