After hrt is sperm suppose to be clear or non existent?

So I'm almost a year on hormones and usually my sperm dosnt even come out, but today clear came out and it has me a little worried.  Do yall think because it was clear that it means  my testosterone is rising because like I said usually nothing comes out.

That is probably just the liquid that the prostate makes. Even post op when they orgasm they might produce such liquid. It just aiding in lubrication.

If you have been on spiro and other Tblockers you more than likely are sterile. These same drugs are used to chemically castrate sex offenders.

HRT typically causes testes to shrink, prostate size and function to decrease, and sperm production to go down.
Long-term use of feminizing hormones can result in permanent infertility.
It does depend a lot on what type of hormones you take, how much you take, and how long you take them,
Everything appears to be normal with you Angelique.  I have been on spiro 25 years. I still get a little fluid but not sperm. I also had a vasectomy back after I had my daughter. At that time we decided one of each was enough. Basically you are receiving a vasectomy without surgery.

No, you're fine. I've been on HTR for nearly 3 years, have had a period of about 8/9 months where my levels where WAY too high (E was 1000+, with T down to ~14) and that still happened on occasion. Like jfong said, it's probably just fluid from your prostate (: still gross imo [emoji23]

I'm post-op and when I'm aroused and get an orgasm, fluid comes out, sometimes in significant amounts. Nothing to be worried about...definitely aids in lubrication.

Since hrt (10 months now) my ejaculate first became clear and since about 4 months in the volume was greatly reduced. Sometimes it's effectively zero, sometimes a few drops. I think what you're seeing is pretty well normal.

i made an appointment to see the DR... i am freaking the freak out and its cray cray.....

but dose not happen when i pee just....  orgasm/Masturbate.


this really sucks because um everytime i think of doing anything that involves orgasm/Masturbate, I TRY TRY TRY not to think or act or do anything cuz i know whats going to come out and i do not need a mess and to worry about that...

its freak as freak... 

so like if anyone has like ever heard of this please feel free to let me know soon as possible. you know... ^_^ =^.^=

Clear ejaculate is an indication that there is little to no sperm. Also a sign that the AA and E are doing their things.

Having any sort of ejaculate is no big thing like jfong & DownODay have said . It is perfectly normal to have from none to a lot. Sure less then before HRT because there is no added "bulk", or sperm. My orgasms there is nothing to a little and I'm 7 years on HRT

Clear and reduced volume to no volume is normal.

Red in ejaculate should be looked at by a doctor. It may just be from your prostate shrinking. PSA tests are not effective because you are on HRT and make sure you have a prostate exam.

At about month 6, there was a lot of clear ejaculate that was about the consistency of water.  Spoke with my endo and she looked everything over.  She told me this is normal and that while the testes produce the sperm and were now no longer functioning as designed, the rest of the ejaculate is formed elsewhere.  The fluid that I was experiencing was 'the other' stuff and that would be consistent throughout my pre-operative life.  She did say it would decrease some over time...and it has.  Now, at month 13 we experience about half of what was present at month 6 and things are still 'normal' for pre-op HRT.

I would still suggest having your doctor take a look if you have concerns still, but it sounds like you are on the normal path.

Oh and imx, the cloudiness of semen isn't a product of the presence of sperm. I had a vasectomy in the '90s and while I was verified to have no swimmers, live  or dead, the appearance of the semen wasn't visibly changed in either volume or consistency.

It's only since HRT that the ejaculate is transparent (and reduced in volume by 80-90%).

Which is what I have experienced as well, though not that drastic a reduction in quantity.  It would appear that HRT is shutting something down that produces the milky part of genetic male ejaculate.

No reason to get crazy but you might check that out with a doc or advice nurse.  It could indicate somethings up like an infection of your urinary tract???

I don't think that's right. The cowpers glands will continue to produce precum same as before. Natal females produce wetness that comes from the vaginal lining which is skin that's different in cis females than in transexual women. I got this from my GCS surgeon whose background is uro-gynecologic surgery.
