"A columnist for a US tabloid has claimed JK Rowling's new Harry Potter spin-off is, in fact, a metaphor for LGBT rights.
'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is released today (Friday, November 18) and takes fans of the magical universe across the Atlantic to explore the wizarding world of the United States. "

I shouldn't have read the article. I was planning to see it tomorrow as a light bit of escapism. I'm so pessimistic about the next 4 years plus that I doubt I'll enjoy the movie now.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!
Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

be brave it looks like a lot of fun. What did you expect you've got Lili playing the lead roll.

I'll be brave. I have no choice. Randi wants to go and the only thing I've ever denied her was pretending to be a man for the rest of my life.

Saw it last night. I can see how it could be a metaphor for that. The obscuris is pretty much a direct correlation if you think about it.
