Thanks :) definitely, it's going to be fun! BTW, am planning to be there at Olmec for my FFS (forehead reconst and rhinoplasty) in the month of Feb as well.nTry to plan for a few additional days if you haven't visited India before.  New Delhi being the capital, is a cultural hub with lots of monuments and palaces around, most of them even I haven't yet seen..lol.

Yeah there are a lot of women covered in veil. There are  both hindu and muslim communities, so I reckon the women you have seen belong to muslim community. But there are also a good number of women (Hindu as well) covered in veil due to the pollution here, lol.

BTW, also wanted to let you know about few concerns, which are important to know, and I wanted to wait to confirm whether they would be really an issue or not. 3 weeks post-op am getting worried about these:

1. Tummy Bulge - So after the operation, I reduced a lot of weight. I have always had some fat around my abdominal area, but it really wasn't much precluding. I noticed, however, after operation that my tummy was bulging out. At first thought it was due to the operation and stitches (due to sigmoid colon). I noticed that a lot of it has subsided, mostly was  swollen which now is okay, but still there is some bulge. I will be going for a follow up this week and plan to ask whether this is still swollen and if other patients face this issue as well. I am hoping it keeps reducing over the net few weeks.

2. Bowel issues - I was on a liquid diet for around 2 weeks after the surgery and slowly started soft food, and later back to normal food. However my stomach is still not habituated. I feel there is a lot of air movement (gas) and if I have any bowel movement I am unable to control is much, making it really tough to stay outdoors for a long time. I really hope I have not developed irritable bowel syndrome and that this gets better.

3. Also I had recently told that doing the dilation normally, I noticed a lot of discharge, which has reduced a little. It is still a little smelly.

I had decided to go for sigmoid colon as I know am very careless and was scared that the vaginal opening would close if by mistake I skip a few sessions of dilation over time. That was the major concern given my schedule. I hope the above issues settle down otherwise they will be a major concern...
The tummy bulge I hear bout with the colovaginaplasty.... which freaked me out but I know a girl with the colo and she have a tiny flat tummy. So yes it's more than likely just swell

Yeah, the other girl I met who had undergone the same surgery a couple of years back has a flat tummy. Guess it is just a little swollen. I have noticed that it has reduced a little, probably cause the tapes are off now. The scar looks like a stretch mark that I got after starting hormones and having gained a lot of weight. Having lost all that weight i noticed a few stretch marks and the scar looks like them. Applying bio oil daily to try and minimise the appearance.

Hey TinaVane! Yeah, everything is going well! Swelling has reduced considerably.

Am still having discharge and have been told it will go on for another 4 months, which I feel is a major downside to this procedure. On the other hand, i was surprised to see that the recovery was quite fast, 2 weeks after surgery i was back to office full time (although I recommend at least 3 weeks rest), and post 3 weeks was able to drive my car. Although it is a big surgery, didn't want it to cause a major change in my lifestyle. Requiring only 2x dilation daily for the first 2 months, I feel I am able to do my regular activities and be regular to my Spanish classes on weekends without getting too tired.

All in all, pretty satisfied :) Though you were right about the scar. It's prominent. Applying Mederma and Bio-oil twice daily. Fingers crossed.

I love that you are ssssooooooo fluent in English. That's so hot. And plus you are East Indian and I have the biggest crushes on them ... they are some beautiful people from features to hair .... you should give me some good India music that I should give a try. I know like 2 others languages fluently .... when I was deciding on going to Thai I was sorta making myself learn that but I cut that off when I heard of olmec.

TinaVane, thanks sis! Definitely, will share some good songs with you. In fact, if you happen to come in Feb, I guess we will end up watching some music videos together at Olmec. That's great! Which languages do you speak? I love learning languages. Had learned Portuguese during matriculation, later took German classes and now learning Spanish.

I think it is a good idea to post it in youtube. It's going to spread awareness. Am too shy to do that though..Have been sharing my experiences in some of the local forums here so that people can take an informed decision.

Im interested in the Sigmoid colon GRS .. because of my micropenis. There is no way it could be inverted into a full depth vagiina. So I really want to know about the procedure as you have related it to us. Thank you. I still want to know more like how long before nevers grow back in etc.
I have heard that orgasms return more likely with inversion method. But since that is not an option for me.. what can I expect. Im sure it is too soon for you to tell us, but did the topic come up in your earlier preo consultations.
I am hppy for you and think you are a lovely girl in your picture.

Dr Suporn in Thailand gets good depth with a micropenis. 5-6 inches I believe. The doesn't use the usual penile inversion, and its not the colon method either.

Why people always go off topic when somebody obviously made up their kind on what surgery they want ?!?! Uh I'm sure she researched them all

If you mean me, she's not the OP and doesn't seem to have made up her mind. I thought it might be helpful.

Thanks! Last month during my follow-up the doctor told that the depth was 10inch. I ain't sure about that as I use a 7inch dilator lol. But remember him telling that the sigmoid colon can make it stretch for about 3 inches. I was worried a little as having a big depth could affect the pleasure during intercourse (feeling that have not been fully penetrated - lol, i know this sounds weird), but it turns out the 7 inch dilator was quite enough and there was a little space in case I wanted to push hard and try - which I didn't.

Getting back to your point, while I was there in November, and also last week for tracheal shave, I noticed a lot of people come here for SRS, and India is known for a community called "hijra" or intersex. I know for a fact that this doctor operates on them as well, so am pretty sure he has experience working with small amount of skin. This is quite normal as we end up taking hormones for many years before going for SRS.

You could write to them about this concern.

Yeah, I completely understand. Hopefully you will get the documents sorted soon. Let me know once you are sure about the date or in case you need any help/info about the city, etc..

Hey Zora! It's never too late to transition :) I didn't mean to make anyone feel old at all. And you were quite young at the time of transition :)  Many people transition in the late 50s.
