Hi, Everyone!
My name is Ed, and I'm a 22 year old Black, queer, non-binary trans-feminine person living in Ohio. About a year ago I came to realize my trans identity, knowing that I never felt comfortable being a "man": I always felt closer and more connected to femininity than anything else, yet I did not necessarily see myself as a woman. Long story short, I've been out as NB to my friends for a little under a year, and I've been enjoying the journey of finding and defining my true self. Definitely not easy, but worth it no doubt!
I'm currently a 1st year grad student working towards my M.A. in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, with my research interests focused on the experiences of Black trans women. When I'm not typing away at my laptop, my interest include music, fashion, natural hair

, pop culture, conversations about race, gender, sexuality (and their intersections), as well as anything up and current.
Definitely look forward to posting and talking with you all in the near future!
