What material or fabric make you feel most sexy? I always thought panties made of silk made you feel soft and sexy? What does everyone else think?

Unless they are trying to seduce someone, most women I know prefer absorbent stretch cotton.

Even if they wear little bitty thongs to land a boyfriend, as soon as the relationship is established, most women want something to wear something comfortable that won't ride up their crotches.

My skin is very sensitive, and I could never stand to wear tight, synthetic underwear with exposed elastic, even expensive Victoria's Secret underthings.
I finally decided not to suffer any longer and designed my own thongs and boy shorts out of thin 4-way black stretch cotton without any exposed elastic or seams.
They are so comfortable it's hard to tell if I'm wearing any..in fact, I still sometimes quietly check to to make sure! They are also easily adjustable, so it doesn't matter if I gain or lose weight. Yet they are quite sexy, according to my then-husband, and my own observation.

Cotton is best but nylon and silk feel nice.

I actually like the microfiber feel.  I like cotton too.  I love the silk feel but depending on the style, microfiber works the best.

I love silk and satin, they just feel the best to me. Just love how they make me feel and I just really enjoy wearing those fabrics, cotton is fine but not as exciting as silk and satin, I also do enjoy lace as well.

was thinking today maybe my first physical step would be to throw out all "my" underwear, and replace them with lace. can remember a time i loved lace and pink. actually love all bright colors. however it would be so embarrassing if i was to get into a accident and ended up in the hospital.  :D :o

Keep two in the back of your drawer and get rid of the rest (I bagged my male underwear and put it in storage except the two). And for accidents: I think they have seen it all in hospitals. So I would not worry about that too much :-)

Totally agree. Microfiber stands above all others. . . Although tricot bras of old still hold a fascination!

Hello everyone,
This is the first time I have posted here, but I have been reading the forums from time to time.
I bought my first set of panties today (cotton boyshorts) and wore them put today under my drab clothes.  I wanted them to be microfiber but could not find any in that style (I have worn my wifes microfiber, and love the feel).
I have been dressing in extreme private for years, usually when my wife is gone and I have the house to myself.  I am away for the next several months and can dress a bit more freely, but still have to be careful due to my job.  I was hoping someone in the VA Beach area might be willing to help me.
Hugs~

Welcome to Susan's Place Joanne. If somebody is willing to help you I suspect they will step up however we are pretty rare in the population. In addition, the site members number about 26,000 world wide and not all of them are active. I am in the Phoenix area and over the last year an a half I have spotted about a dozen members on the site within an hour driving distance. The quickest way to locate somebody is to google "city name LGBT" and that tends to get the nearest center which can be a great local resource. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Oh. That is for a hygienic purpose (preventing fungal and bacterial infection in the buttocks).
Also I usually wear summer sandals and fishnet even in winter for preventing athlete's foot.

I am a long way off from being able to do that.  Love the outfit in your avatar!

Yeah, Barbie has a great eye for fashion. Of course, it helps when you've got legs that go all the way up to your chin. Jealous? Moi? Never!

Microfiber. The stretch conforms nicely to my bulge without and baggy pouches or chaffing seams.
Cotton. Absorbent and great for hot, sweaty athletic activities.
Satin. for  seduction
Lace. just for show, too much chaffing on sensitive areas. works great at hemlines.

I always choose bright, cheery colors, mostly solids.

Oh Lily,
If you get into an accident and get taken to the hospital, the first thing they do is cut off all your clothes anyway. They are looking for injuries, not fashion. I am sure that ER workers see lots of lace panties!
