I've been on hrt for about 4 months now, I'm very pleased with the results, I have A cups and overall my mood is a lot better. Ultimately I want to know if it's too late in my life for me to see any changes to my butt and hips. I know my pelvis has fused so there won't be bone structure changes, but can I expect very much fat redistribution? Any stories of your progress for people past the fusion date, >26. :)

Welcome to Susan's Place. How your body develops will depend on your genetics. I put fat on my hips making my widest measurement at my crotch. Unfortunately I have a gene for a pancake butt and have almost no development in that area. I have seen other who even with clothes on have a very shapely bottom. You might get a clue by looking at both the male and female members of your family but the only way to know for sure will be to wait.

Thanks for your response, I will read that.

My sister has a big butt even though she's small. I was just seeing if other post pelvis fusion folks saw much growth. :)

Yes, assuming that you are eating... your extra weight will migrate to your hips. The real trick is keeping it under control. A smooth posterior is better than a dimpled one. Work on building muscle in your hips and gluts, the fat will migrate there naturally, give it a solid foundation to adhere to. ;)
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Estrogen naturally promotes gluteofemoral fat deposition, more so when combined with progesterone. My butt, thighs have significantly fattened up. I take a high dose of estrogen and progesterone. Been on HRT for 12 yrs. Saw changes in that area within months. At the time, I was on a lower dose of estrogen and taking a progestogenic anti-androgen, cyproterone acetate. My mom and aunt (her sister) have flat butts although VERY large breasts, women on my father's side, I'm not sure although I know they are also very large-breasted. I have small boobs, a prominent butt and thick thighs but thankfully, long legs. :)
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

Workout endlessly for that ass. Unless you want an ass of lard and cottage cheese.

Seriously. Don't skip a day.

I'm close to thirty and am in my 4th month.  My butt has gotten bigger since I have gained weight.  It started to go to my butt instead of stomach.  I had to go up on pant sizes because they were too tight across the butt.  Hips, however, have not changed noticeably at all.  The feel a little softer from some fat but they don't look broader from the front.   I believe the pelvis fuses early on and any hip growth at our age is fat accumulation.

Thanks for all of your replies.

I lift toddlers for 8 hours a day so I get plenty of butt and leg work. :)

I'm pushing 30 so I'm hoping there is some decent fat redistribution

Almost at 90 days, and no discernable differences in body.  Though those around me say I seem happier lately, and most don't know I'm transitioning.  My chest has always had around an a cup for moobs, which might be a bit more pointy, but I can't really tell for sure.  I am stuck at my weight loss, no matter what, I can't drop below 267Lbs.  Walking is my most frequent exercise, I try sit ups, and crunchs, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong as I can't breath when doing them and it makes my back hurt, which proceeds to give me a headache and make me feel sick.

Sorry, tangent, but congratulations on the changes, and hope things keep going your way!
All the worlds a joke, and the people, merely punchlines

I have seen consider redistribution as witnessed by a slight increase in weight with no increase in waist size. My butt has added about 2.5 inches if i am reading my records right. The women in my family without exception have ample bottoms.
