Alora

Hey ladies,

First of all, I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place, forgive me if I'm not.

Second, I just found out today about an LGBTQ scholarship through my school. I am hoping to bounce my bio for the scholarship off you ladies. This bio will be read by the board of directors and will also be used as my bio for the site. I would love suggestions or ways to make it stronger. There is a 75 word max and I am currently at 64.

Here it is:

Alora Clark was raised in a military home. Having spent much of her childhood moving around, she moved back to Seattle after graduating High School. She is attending South Seattle College and is working towards completing her Associate Degree in Welding Technology. Her goal is to raise awareness within the trades to LGBTQ issues through her skill and art as a welder and blacksmith.

Thanks everyone

I might add... Alora Clark, a member of the LGBTQ community,... Or throw in your transition status or something to indicate why, other than raising awareness, you are applying.

Just my 2 pence.
