I have a couple of questions. I'm a Dr. Brassard girl from several years ago.

1) Can I get waxed down there? I would probably think so but just checking to be sure. Always shaved but never waxed.

2) Do any of you know if some sutures are left inside the body to keep the labia minora in check/in position? The reason I ask is because when I walk, I will occasionally feel something inside, just under where my labia minora is situated. Feels like some sort of thread or suture, holding the labia in place.

Thanks. :)
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

There is nothing in the booklet saying you can't wax, but you could ask them.  Internally all the sutures are dissolvable.  There is some chance that dissolvable sutures have not broken down, but only in the case where it is exposed externally.  Internally any suture would be long gone.

I've kept my entire nether-regions, completely hairless; aka the "Hollywood wax", for many years now. It always feels {and looks} heavenly to be so clean and totally smooth.
I had my GCS several decades ago and underwent a urogynaecological update earlier this year, but have never felt anything more than a slight discomfort during the waxing procedure at the Salon, nor that my anatomy is in any way being stressed by the waxing process.
The beauty therapist is always very sensitive to any 'sensibilities' and modesty issues and we find that we work together to pull tension on any of the softer areas; as it`s much easier to get all the hairs from the folds and creases when they`re pulled flat and tight.......and with regards to any extant post-operative scars; in the past when having the initial session, I`ve simply said that I`ve had some "non-standard anatomy" but please not to worry about hurting me.

My beautician observed recently that my waxing is considerably easier and much more effective, than for many of her natal-female clients, whom generally are 'fleshier' and have larger labia.......A comment which made me smile, because so often, one reads of women with a trans-history thinking that their labia are excessively fleshy compared to natal-females. ;)
........I highly recommend such intimate waxing, for those like me, whom really dislike hairyness.
