My One True Hate.... My Penis!

Now while some might find it very odd to complain about having a big penis and most men want one, I can tell you, its been nothing but bother and heartache for me!

I happen to have a larger than average sized penis, which most 'men' would be very proud of, but for me its hell. Since starting on anti androgens, after being on Oestrogen for around 8 months, I was hoping my erections would go away completely, but no, in fact the thing has developed a complete life of its own and its very frustrating. I cant wear my favourite tight Lee jeans any more, even with a gaff on as the bloody thing just swells up and makes me look like I've, well, got an erect penis in my trousers to be quite frank. It can also be quite painful, due to the oestrogen constricting the tissues in the area.

Anyways, I've spoken with Dr Carr and she's passing me on to some guy to try and sort out my hormones to stop this happening so fingers crossed, but damn, I wish I didn't have to wait for all the red tape to be cleared so I can just cut the bloody thing off and be done with it lol. I always said, if I get the full op, it will be for purely practical reasons and non sexual and I honestly think its about time I switched my plug for a socket so I can wear my jeans again :P

On any other forum people would think you were bragging but I can sympathize with you completely.

I used to have similar problems a few years back when I wanted to wear tight clothes. Any attempt to hide things caused Mr Winkys big brother to wake up, and even when I managed to get everything tucked away it never looked quite right, so I had to resort to wearing loose skirts etc. I hated the damn thing and would have cut it off myself if I could have found a way that didn't hurt.

I've just started finding myself again and I'm not on HRT yet, but luckily age has found its own way of keeping things down so I rarely have problems in that department now. Everything tucks away nice and neatly and stays there. I still hate the useless thing and like you I cant wait for the day when I can wave bye bye to it.

I know I'm not helping you much, but its nice to rant. ;D

Yes it can be quite a release to rant once in a while lol.

Its odd because before the ant androgens, I didn't have this problem so much, its as if the lack of testosterone has triggered it... but that cant be right, surely... perhaps they simply aren't working as they should, or perhaps its just my time of the month... :D

Did you happen to find any other tricks to stop the thing from awakening?

Not really. The only thing that worked was getting angry with myself. Other than that I just had to put up with it.

Its strange. I would have thought you being on HRT would have had the opposite effect if what I have read is right. Maybe someone who knows more can throw some light on it.

Sometimes hormones and anti - androgens have a reverse paradox effect on some people and they ended up with unwanted erections and various other problems. A similar problem happened to me on zoladex......and it's quite distressing..

jj, ever try changing your meds? Take a absolute minimum dose of cypro in combo with spiro and haven't had a problem in the "tuck dept" ever since (much to my spouse's chagrin?)

She's taken to adopting pets now (as a substitute for me?) We now have 3 cats and two puppies and lord only knows what'll be next! Reply in other thread (sorry!)

I'm on just Cypro at the moment an have been on Premarin for almost a year now. I've not ever had spyro, not even sure what difference it is to Premarin hehe, except I guess perhaps its not made with horse wee?! :oI'll be seeing this Dr bloke soon anyhows, hopefully he can sort this out :D fingers crossed

Edit: Removed dosage info ~ Kate

sometimes if you take a too higher dose it can also give a paradox effect..

not to be insulting.... but it reminds me of a movie with Christina Applegate - The Sweetest Thing

This movie makes me laugh so hard I nearly pee in my pants... anyway at one point she start sining a song that goes "Your thing is too big to put in here!"

She also sings an Aerosmith song to alleviate a problem for a friend of hers (ROFLMAO) --- This romantic song isn't the same anymore.

Anyway sorry about your problem.... the flipside(?) you will have plenty of tissue for the SRS surgery then ?
