Cis people with body dysphoria?

Hello everyone.

The other day I met a cis woman who got top surgery but still identified as female. I was surprised, but found it very interesting. Have any of you met someone like this before? Would you consider someone like this to be transgender or is there a name for people with that kind of experience?

I disagree with labeling other people, so I would say they should identify however they like and people should respect that. What I consider them to be is of no consequence in the grand scheme of things.

That's the difference between dysmorphia (wrong shape) and dysphoria. She will have been upset about her top, but not about her gender, and she will have been relieved after the surgery, and not needed any other change.

Some natal females also opt for surgery to try to mitigate against familial risks of breast cancer too.

Either she removed them due back problems or she just weren't comfortable with them. There are people who undergoes many stuffs in order to improve their appearance or making themselves more comfortable in their own skin. It might be in form of clothing, hairstyle and makeup or more permanent stuffs like tattoos, cosmetic surgery etc. Just because they undergoes these things doesn't mean they have to be put in a specific labeled box.

I would consider someone like this to be whomever they say they are
I've not met anyone like this but iv'e come across people talking about it and other's who've discussed friends like this and if that person say's female then their female i don't consider that trans.
Here is why: Because if someone is comfortable with them then they are who they say they are but
if there not then i'd consider that trans.  But just because you change a certain part of your body doesn't make you transgender it makes you who ever you think you are.

Having just "Met Her" you have no idea of the deeper reasons why...

For instance, my former fiancee MANY times wanted to self harm or otherwise get rid of her breasts. Having been sexually abused by her step father with the full knowledge of her mom... sent off to boarding school and sexually assaulted (OK, she had a MAGNIFICENT pair)  Any wonder?

NFW did she identify as anything other then cis... to the point of calling things off with me because "I wasn't a 'Real Man'"
