Yup, less than 48 hours and 8 miles from My Day.

This time is much different than the first date, a little over a year ago. No fear, eager to be fully me, and get on with my life.

I want to thank my therapists, friends, and Susan's people for getting me here. Wow! I <3 you all!
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Doing great emotionally, but dammit woke up this morning with sinus crud and a sore throat...any advice on how to fix this? I suspect it's the change in weather, from cold and rainy Seattle to warm and dry Arizona...

ETA: A small bowl of oatmeal and a glass of apple juice helped a lot... :)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

It will clear out quickly Beth Andrea. Needless to say I didn't have the drainage issue I have up here down there so it should clear quickly. A good hot shower probably would help too I suspect. Hugs

Thanks Dena...yes, especially after I got up and was moving around...it may have been this super comfy bed with nearly new sheets at the "AirBnB" we're staying at.

Done with the pre-op with Dr. Ley, got my goodie bag and instructions! I have 22 hours to go!

On a gurney with heating tube, iv, and nurses orbiting around me and Stacie!

Pretty tired, but in good spirits!

About 2 hours to go... :)
