Femininity in males

It's kind of weird that despite being a trans man, I'm pretty feminine. I guess there isn't one way to be male but I feel it definitely turns a few heads.
Anyone else had this problem?[emoji21]

If you look around there are quite a few feminine guys out there. Of course, some of them have been bullied for it, especially when younger. Some guys for example use higher parts of their register when talking, some guys dress and do their hair in a more feminine way, some move and express themselves in a feminine way. And feminine does not necessarily mean gay. There are some fem ftm bloggers on Youtube, you just need to look around.

I think your hair looks good. If it makes you feel comfortable and happy then I see no need to change it. I dislike these articles you get anout how trans men can only get certain haircuts to 'pass'. It's more important to be happy with your gender expression and appearance.

Those articles are wrong anyway. I had a buzz cut pre T and didn't pass but at 10 months on T I passed really well with a buzz cut and started getting misgendered when it grew out and I started gelling it up again. Everyone's face is different for one thing and none of that advice is scientific, it's just a collection of anecdotes pronounced with unearned authority.

Ok so just thought I'd share when I was done removing the makeup from Starbucks toilets I couldn't stop thinking how incredibly masculine I look and I felt a little sad too, I felt that the makeup had been an experience (even if I did get heckled) and then this random dude said "makeup is just a face mask you wear"
