I've noticed when depressed I've been getting physically ill and that leads to my entire body
getting cold chills. I was wondering if its common with anyone else. Things have improved but somethings still remain
and at the moment it sucks and let me put something straight this is my life  "I always new i'd be down even after transition" Being sexually abused isn't easy Being bullied isn't easy and it's something i live remembering.
So yes i still get down and transgender is hard but for me ^ that's harder. And i don't know if i'm alone but why that's happening to me i don't know if it's PTSD bipolor or if i'm just strange but either way it happens. This isn't something you may experience for you being transgender but in my life for me personally it is and that's my complete struggle it's both problems put into one and it sucks and i get down over it, and i don't normally speak about it. Yes i have a consular.
And returning to my question does anyone else sometimes get that cold chill when down?

Not that I can remember. I had depression for almost 6 years and I guess I still have it very mildly. I haven't heard of depression causing chills which makes me think you have another mental issue causing this. Sorry if this wasn't much help :/

When a person is depressed, they don't alway feel like eating. It only takes a missed meal or two before the body starts conserving energy by burning less food. While depression isn't an issue for me, I will sometimes get busy and forget to eat resulting in feeling cold.

When I'm super anxious I tend to do that too; when I'm closer to a panic attack I tend to not be able to talk at all; which is always so much fun lol

No.

What does happen to me is that I am always pretty cold. Everyone says I have cold hands all the time, which I don't notice, but if I sit down or lie down then yes, my temperature drops when I'm not actively doing something and then I feel cold. I must have one of those on/off metabolisms that fires up a lot when active and shuts down the minute I just stop doing anything. Or crap circulation. If you are depressed then you tend not to be feel like being active, sit around or lie in bed more and you'll probably have lower body temperature as a result. If something's bothering me then that's exactly what I do... sit around and brood. And get cold.

Your transition just started I guess and it won't be like flicking a switch and you'll instantly feel exactly as you want to be, it's going to take some time. At the moment I am hovering on that point of still wondering if T is going to have the result of results I hoped for. But I know it's going to take a while and there's nothing I can do but wait. Which is depressing but better than the stage where I didn't even know if they were going to accept me for hormones and surgery... at least you're on the road, instead of sitting on the wall wondering if you'll even be allowed on it.

Good to hear its not just me but bad to hear also because that sucks.
Yea, i hate when i lose my voice during attacks it's scary and makes me think something is deathly wrong when it isn't
i've been dealing with this for a couple months now and according to every test it's fine it's just something that from what my doctor told me "Doesn't happen to many people" but the cold chills are new and so i questioned it.

Possible but doubt it iv'e been eating fine for a couple months now and its improved.
I just monitored my own eating (I don't suggest doing to anyone) i just happen to know things to do this
even though i shouldn't, but how i handle things aren't the typical rout.

Whenever I've been depressed I kind of feel like my immune system is also depressed. I've noticed I'm much more likely to get sick or ill when I'm having a depressive episode than I normally would. That could include things like chills, stomach issues, fatigue, etc.
