I know that most men, even those not necessarily pre-disposed to balding, experience some degree of hair loss as they age (my grandpa started getting a lesser variation of the 'Jude Law' type pattern after he got into his mid sixties). This is something I've come to expect and that sort of age-related hair loss isn't what I'm specifically referring to in this thread.
I'm referring to straight up going bald and/or experiencing serious thinning as some cis males do in their twenties. As a trans man, I knew going bald or dealing with extensive thinning was possibly something I'd have to face; after almost a year and a half on T, however, I've been lucky enough to experience neither of those things.
Though I realize I'm still pretty early to the party, I'm wondering if there ever comes a time when you can just sort of sit back and not worry about it anymore--the whole 'if it was going to happen, it would've *more* than likely happened by now' bit--or if it may always be a looming threat.
For those that have been on T for several years (2-3+), what are your experiences? Did you think you were in the clear only to deal with a sudden change three or four+ years in?
Did any of you just starting out experience immediate loss or thinning only to see it taper off?
