Feedback on my FAQ pls

So I'm already out to most family and close friends, but in the next few months will be going full-time, so there will be some broader communications at work, Facebook etc... To keep the content of my messages simple I've created an FAQ (below) I'll link to in these communications. Can I ask for peoples thoughts on it, any feedback appreciated. X

It all looks pretty good to me.

That said, I found that most people weren't especially interested in being educated, and that less was more.

I am not saying there is too much there, just that in my experience, I was over-thinking the response I would get..

Megan, that is cool, it brings to mind an idea I've been playing around with... maybe you have some input?

I occasionally work with large amounts of data collected from scientific studies, I've helped develop a couple of methods of analyzing that data that are useful for providing information to non-scientist in the form of graphical representations.

My idea is to create an interactive survey for the transgender community that would be fun to participate in and provide useful information in a science-geeky way, and still appeal to the broader population.

If you have any interest or know someone who does, please e-mail me.  The idea is more back burner for now, but I think worth pursuing if there is interest.

Would love to toss some ideas around when I have time.

I am not sure who the authority is, or what the official rule is on this, but I have always said that the term transexual is used to describe someone that is transgender and has the intention of changing their genitals to match their gender identity.  After GCS/GRS/SRS they are no longer trans* because their genitals match their gender identity.  The period of transition is transitory and has an end point, so in my mind after surgery one may not be CIS per se, but one is no longer trans*, either.  I also agree with KathyLauren about assigning past tense to the adjective transgender.  Tense is reserved for verbs...?  I am not nit-picking here, but since you asked.   I have transitioned from male to female, am no longer transgender, and I am just a woman now.  I do not refer to myself as trans*.  I no longer have gender dysphoria, either.  I am no longer transitory; just liviin' life!

Though in my case, it may well be argued I actually was verbed into being 'transsexualed', ha! But my de-transition did indeed have an end point, and though some people may disagree, I am now exactly 'cis' again, as nature originally intended, as a result. Semantics can ensnare anybody in anything imposed by somebody with no right to say anything at all about my body. But, hey, whatever...

Two comments (but admittedly I didn't read every one Q/A).

1) I use the term Transsexual for someone who has done ANYTHING medical (Taking hormones for example counts)  Therefore I strongly consider myself a "transsexual"

2) Is there a cure?  Actually Yes there is - Transition or N/A there's nothing "wrong" to cure.

Stating that "you are trying to cure something" implies that "something is wrong."  Which by association implies that Gender Dysphoria is a result of something that's wrong.  Maybe so.  In that case the "fix" or "cure" for G.D. would remove the condition of G.D. (not mask it).  You can't cure it, but as any pharma company will tell you - mask the symptoms and you've "cured it".  In that way the answer would be "YES - Transitioning is the cure/removal of symptoms"

The other side of the coin is that G.D. is not "something wrong" which implies there is nothing to cure would imply a "NO" isn't accurate and should be "Not Applicable" since there is nothing to cure.

An addendum would be - can you cure being left handed?  It's something wrong after all (many centuries ago it was considered "devils work" and "abnormality") we need to cure it.
