Bangkok bound on the last day of this month and under the knife on the 2nd!

Followed by a lengthy recovery and lots of sleep.

I will be travelling with my partner, and I'm sure I'll be grateful for her support. I am really looking forward to it all....but no doubt there will be plenty of nervousness between now and then!

One tip the hospital will feed you a diet based on your culture, for the last day i asked for the Thai menu, and loved it a whole lot more! So much more healthy than American food!

My suggestion is to try the default meals one day then ypu can experiment with trying the other cuisines

I love Thai food, I'd be eating nothing else. They probably know how to cook it better than western as well.

I wonder if they do British or Australian cuisine?  I may go straight for the Thai default, depending on how I feel!

Yes, I'm here! A little delay of one day on the op date - needing to check that my old body can withstand a 3-5 hour operation. I ran a half marathon in May....so I guess I should be alright?!
