I got called Ma'am at the 7-11!

Granted I had on a baseball cap, sunglasses and a heavy parka...  and as soon as I spoke I got 'Sorry, Sir'...

But still, kinda cool.

I can't say that has ever happened to me but then again I haven't really been in public en femme and highly doubt it could happen otherwise. Heck I wouldn't ever "Ma'am" me.  I do agree " Earrings DO make it all better."  Love earrings, I have dual piercings.

Mine always did when I was kind of secretly experimenting but not going out in public much. Would often be refered to as female initially, and then they would awkwardly apologize when I spoke . Even though I don't really pass these days still, I have been living full time in defiance of my doctors hesitating to start me on HRT and pretty much everyone treats me as female. Wine is poured to me before the men around the table at resturants, its 'miss' and 'lady' all over and I still feel a little jolt of happiness each time, even after 2 years of doing it.

I love the rings, just my kind of thing . I have a row of colorful madness in my ear that I'm very fond of.
