"Kellie Maloney has said her "life was taken away" after revealing she is trans.
The boxing promoter has opened up in a new interview about going on public on being trans.

She told OK! Magazine: "[I didn't receive] much negative attention but I sort of felt my life was taken away from me".
"I wasn't in control of my own life.""

Depressing. I often think about going public with the intent of giving other closeted trans people courage, as well as helping to fight the general transphobia in our society. But I know that I will be the target of a lot of hatred and will never have the opportunity to do what I really want to do, which is disappear into society as a woman someday.  :-\
