Hi everyone! So I've been on hormones now for nearly two months and I was wondering what people think.

First day:

Today:

My girlfriend says my face has gotten softer but I'm not sure, what does everyone think?

Also, I've had some breast buds form thus far but they seem to be growing very slowly, how long did it take everyone to actually develop breasts?

You're just at the point where the first tiny changes start to appear.  You likely have some skin changes at this point, a bit less oily and perhaps softer.  I think you'll fine there is a slowish runup, and the real fun kicks in at very roughly 6 months.

With the shape of your face, I suspect that you will do very well indeed!  Just have some patience for now.  Biology is a slow but steady sort of process to tinker with.
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Like Michelle say's it takes time. It's a marathon, not a sprint. I'm at 6 months and considerably older than you are. But here is what happened to me. In the first week I lost the will to argue and complain. Not totally but it is more thought out. By month two I also got breast buds but I have been on spiro for 25 years so I had a bit of a head start and now the breasts are filling in, getting rounder, more sensitive. I am now tickling a C cup. My balls went from walnut size to pecan size. My butt is just now filling out. My face softened and wrinkles became less prominent. Don't get me wrong my face is still gnarly. I am getting electrolysis. Lucky for you, you have dark hair and laser will do the trick. I am about 50% done. I now feel incredibly serene compared to 8 months ago when I almost had a breakdown. I've been pushing this rock around for almost 60 years. I knew I was different at 5 and started dressing at 7. Just be patient, its going to be fine. You will shortly see significant changes but it usually affects your brain in the first couple weeks, month. After that seems at least for me things are moving along just fine. Glad you are taking steps for self fulfillment and that you have the support of a loved one. It does make all the difference.

Hi PBP,

I am Jeanette and welcome. I am about 3 weeks ahead of you. At 2 months I had definite tender bumps growing on my chest. I could feel solidness inside, sort of donut shaped with the hole right below the nipple. There seemed to be more fattiness on both sides too. Now the hole has filled in and the solid growth inside may be a bit bigger. I can tell there are breasts growing when wearing a bra. I still can't fill an A cup but a bra gives them some definition.  Now my tops and dresses look like a very small breasted girl is wearing them. Enough so I don't feel the need to use my forms. They may be small but I can see them and they are me!  Can you see the proud smile?
Of course they are growing slowly. Have you ever seen a pubescent young girl pop from a flat chest to a C cup? Of course you haven't. Boobies take time for cis-girls to grow them. Why would you think HRT meds would be different? It takes time for us to grow them. It is puberty for us also. relax and enjoy the progress slow as it may be.
I am. I can't stop feeling and looking at mine.

Sit back and Let them grow Let them grow Let them grow.

Hugs.
   Jeanette
