hello~ first of all, i'm new here so i'm really sorry if i end up stepping on someone's toes ^ - ^; secondly, i'd like to reach out to the community for some advice: i'm a 24 year old male demiboy who has never had any kind of hormone treatment before and desires to be less masculine, but not to transition to female necessarily, if that makes sense... my question is, what kind of medications/hormones could i ask my doctor to prescribe me in order to become less masculine? right off the bat i figure androgen blockers would be helpful, but i would love to hear suggestions.

again, sorry if made any faux pas... and if you have any questions for me, please feel free to ask. thank you very much~! ♥ ^ - ^

Welcome to Susan's Place. Unfortunately the only information I can give you is a blocker and an estrogen. The reason for this is the medication vary from country to country and sometimes from doctor to doctor. It will depend on the medication available to the doctor, the way it's administered and the doctor's preference. You need to have a discussion with your doctor and it's possible that you may need a referral to an Endo who will be more knowledgable about this.

I was told that a very low dose will make smaller, slower changes. When I made my appointment they told me they can, so some degree, tailor the dosages to what the individual is seeking,. I am seeing an ICATH provider, not WPATH, so for providers, YMMV.

Welcome aboard hypno_twink,

I think you are likely finding yourself part of the fast growing cultural awareness of non binary identities.  Transitions whether social, medical or surgical are unique to and can be tailored to an individual.  It seems to me that with more increasingly specific goals our results can be brilliant or keep us wanting forever?  As you likely know, our mileage varies in many respects to how we look and perhaps more importantly how we feel and our emotional reality when using HRT medications.  Yes there are ways to proceed in your chosen direction, good luck on the ride.

I am happy to identify as queer while it was once a taunt thrown my way.  I also recall the dating ads specifying "no twinks".  I might encourage you to share more about your personal identity and your chosen terms in an effort to enlighten us?
