U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, appeared Sunday on the C-SPAN program "Newsmakers," touting the Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2007, which passed Wednesday in the House of Representatives. The bill prohibits employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

Baldwin offered, then withdrew, an amendment to the bill to prohibit discrimination on the basis of gender identity.
