So, I was at the thrift store yesterday and this dress called my name, as did the shoes (Veda... pst... buy us Veda... take us home... we're gorgeous...)

I want it to be my first dress for a special occasion,  I'm thinking the accessories would be Black Nylons, Red Button Earrings and Red Bracelet...

Does anyone have any suggestions?  For other accessories, makeup?

The dress is nice and I like your idea for earrings and bracelet. The shoes however look like a nice comfortable pair for casual use. (you did mention "special occasion")  I would think a black pump or dressy sandal would be in order. But them I was always a fail at fashion even in male mode.

That's my 2 cents

  Hugs,

Cute dress! Yeah i 2nd the thought of going with dressier shoes. Simple black pumps would be a nice. I'd think about a black or red bag to the mix.

Nylons i'm not a huge fan of and many in the fashion world are not. Bare your legs if you can (use some bronzer if it makes you more comfortable too).

There is a slight possibility that Tights could work, nice opaque black ones, but then i'd not wear pumps, rather something like a shootie or boots. But, that could also make your lower parts look fairly casual and although i can't see the dress close up, it looks pretty dressy

Love the idea of the red accessories you mentioned.

Cute Dress! You can team up it with a neck piece along with some chunky bracelets. Can team up with a stilleto or a wedge sandal too.
