I had DI almost 3 years ago. I have the visible scar still that runs the underline of my pecs. I'm getting a tattoo to cover some of it. Not my first tattoo either. The artist has some concerns about going over scar tissue and definitely doesn't want to go over my nipples though I'd like him too. Anyone here done the same? How'd it go? And how much?

Or even just medical tattooing like skin color matching? I have brown skin so our scars tend to be a darker brown as opposed to red.

If you click the link to my instagram in my signature, my chest piece is on there a few scrolls down. We had no issues tattooing my scar tissue. I had no feeling whatsoever there, which was nice because the rest hurt like heck. We avoided my nips because I like those.

I'm still not finished with it. I paid $500 for the outline (done freehand) and expect to spend another $300-$500 for shading when I get around to it.

ETA: Linking here because it was further down than I thought -

Dude you're always the guy to answer my question! Coming through every time! That looks awesome. Good to know there wasn't much feeling by the scar. I'm doing it in one session. Outline and shading.
