First day out!

Dominique--I hope that you will be able to take the leap soon! I was surprised by how good it feels!

Next stop, breast forms! I ordered some inexpensive foam ones yesterday. Just dying to take that awkward trip to the bra aisle / changing rooms!

Just a quick update--first full week out at work went well! Had to face more colleagues and strangers; came out to my boss (who works in a different office, both states have non-discrimination laws covering gender identity). Everyone has been very positive and supportive so far. I am also part of an activist group and changed my name / pronouns there. Definitely a stressful week, so I rewarded myself by getting my ears pierced today!

Thanks again to all of you for your words of support and encouragement. I still have a lot of rough days, but I'm so happy to have this great community.

Progress p, Progress!!

  You hit the ground running a week ago and just look at you now! Happy!  That's what I'm getting from you. Happy with life. Happy with where you are going, Happy with the progress you are making.

Keep up the good work and keep put one foot in front of the other.
  Don't wait for me, lol I'll open that doors someday soon.
