Ella2Marques

Hi

My name is Ella Marques, I am a MTF transgender, living in South Florida. I know and followed this website for such a long time. Great work that is done here and I am proud finally to join you guys, took me a long time.

I am very active in our community in South Florida. I organize transgender dinners in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. We usually get about 20 transgender Woman, Transgender Man and friends together. I am active as well with LGBT organizations and volunteer on a regular basis. Mainly the support of trans kids is so important.

I am a writer and have just published a book called "I was Born a boy, from Venus.".

Would love to have all of you as friends and when you come to South Florida would love to help you around.

Love you all and don't forget Together we are strong.

Regards
Ella Marques

I am a transgender woman, I have been this way all my life. I was filled with guilt at a very young age, a victim of a society that did not understand what it means to be free and yourself. I tried to adapt and flee from my real self by being a workaholic, eating, drinking and doing all in extremes.
Do we have to do the same now to transgender kids? Do they have to suffer all their lives? What about giving them a chance to live like normal people and be happy?
Help to protect transgender kids from bullies, transphobia and hate. Give them a chance.

Hey you youngin.  I'm 64 Ella so you can't use that excuse.

If you mean you're having trouble getting over to introductions I can help with that.
  1. scroll up above the black bar towards the top.
  2. above it you will see blue words. Click on forums
  3. next scroll down to the orange Introductions and click on it.
  4. now scroll down a little to between the light gray and darker gray lines
  5. over on the right you'll see the words "New Topic"  click it and you can start your own introduction
  6. when you are finished telling us what you want to share scroll down and click on "Post"

I hope that helps you Ella and welcome again

Hugs,
    Jeanette

No worries  :)   Glad to help

It is a rather large and popular site and may feel a bit overwhelming at first

But just relax, take your time and you'll be getting about with ease before you know it

Hi Arianna

I looked at your story, I am still moved by it. Be though girl you will survive.

I am a writer and an trying to organize a small book with stories from different transgender, meaning 6 chapters, and each one of us would write one chapter. I would then  put the book together with my editor and sell it. Each contributor would receive its share. Not sure if you are interested in participating.

The book I just published is called, I was born a boy, from Venus, you can find it in Amazon under Ella Marques. or in my website www.ellamarques.com. My story is not so shocking as yours.

Did you tell your story to Rebecca Kling from NCTE?

We have a great transgender family worldwide, so strong and some really great people.

Together we are strong girl, we will win, get accepted and have normal lives.

XOXO
Ella
