So, basically the title says it all. I'm 2 months on T today! A few months ago I didn't know I'd even be on it right now. The only changes really are... I don't identify as asexual anymore cause it's given me a (slight) sex drive. And boy, my skin is so oily it's gross.

Only a slight... change in my voice which I'm disappointed about but I hope real changes start popping up soon!

I just wanted to talk. Are you on T? Do you want to be? When did your voice noticeably change? Ect? I just want to know other's experiences.  ;D

Congrats on your two month mark, man! That's awesome. It feels great to be moving in the right direction, doesn't it?

I've been on T for almost a year and a half and going on it was one of the best decisions I've made for myself.
The oiliness you're experiencing is something I can heavily empathize with. The first four months were the absolute worst for me--my fiancée wouldn't even want to kiss me in the morning because my face was like a deep fryer--and I had to carry around oil removing facial sheets everywhere I went. Then, literally overnight, the problem vanished. Haven't had an issue since then. I'll be hoping that's the case for you, too.

My voice dropped almost instantly (a less than a month) and continued to deepen throughout the following six months or so. I completely lost the upper and mid tones to the point where nothing would come out but an airy squeak if I tried using them. They've since very recently returned but not nearly as varied/harmonic as they were before. Changes can occur for quite some time, though, with vastly different timeframes so don't feel disappointed yet by any means.

I've thought about getting some of those oil removing facial sheets! I'm glad to see they work because I feel so gross most of the time.

And it does feel good! I wish I were like most (lucky) guys and had a voice that dropped almost immediately because I work in a call center and am on the phones, getting misgendered all day.  :embarrassed:

I'm glad you've been able to be yourself for almost a year and a half! I can't WAIT until I get to that point. I hope you're happy

I suffered T poisoning as the result of puberty and I remember well the oily skin. I could have washed my face 3 time a day and it would still be oily. At some point the skin should settle down but if you started with oily skin it may take a long time. Even with me being free of T for many years, I still have somewhat oily skin. If it's a problem talk to your Endo and possibly a dermatologist.

Thank you for the advice!
My little brother has really acne ridden skin and I'm super scared I'll end up with that sort of problem. However, my older brother suffered a little through puberty and now is fine. I assume I might be somewhere in the middle.

Been on it a few months. I got immediate changes of all kinds, but I suspect part of that was my natural T and E levels being abnormally low anyway before I got my script, there was very little E in the system to counter any effects of a low-medium T dose.

Being on T is great. I feel healthy for once, stronger and able to take more physical punishment, and low hormones are a nightmare psychologically so with that dealt with I no longer feel like a 1000 mph emotional and physical wreck. Adjusted to the body hair, sleep, skin oil, sex drive, and all that. Happy with what it's doing. Probably going to take a while for the facial hair but the voice is pretty low already and it's great to hear myself sound like I do.

My voice went hoarse within the first 5 days and by the end of the first month the tone was noticeably deeper. I started in October so it's been a while. Seemed to drop in stages, first month, third and fourth. Third especially. It still has further to go in my view, at least I'd like it to, I don't know at what point the cords stop thickening on T though.

I'm glad you're so far happy with your changes! Have you tried to build any muscle? I want to, cause I feel better while working out but I'm lazy about it.
My natural T levels were crazy low to begin with, so I knew right off hand that it'd take me a while to see changes. But it seems that around 3 months is when most guys start seeing some vocal changes and that's right on the horizon. I can hope, right?

I have tried, yeah.

Even before T I build and keep muscle easily compared to some people. On T I started gaining it immediately without even working out, I could feel things like traps, biceps, calves and quads were bigger and "harder" after about 1 month of T and no change of exercise routine (not massively bigger, but definitely bigger than before). Since then I started eating a lot of protein and mildly working out - I can't do it heavily as I'm nowhere near a gym or gym equipment right now, and only have a few weights around to use but there is a definite difference as well as being able to do more reps than before. I grew lazy about it in the past because obviously I could never achieve the sort of physique I wanted and that wasn't to be overly muscular, but masculine. If I still had the multigym I once owned I'd use it because I've a chance of actually getting somewhere with it now. Too bad I left it behind in an apartment when the guy who owned the place surprise-kicked everyone out of the block.

Yeah 3-4 months seems to be when most people notice significant voice drops.

Edit: noticed a few randomly placed beard hairs on the sides tonight. Looks like it's starting to come in. At this "rate" though it's going to take a while lol.

Congo-Rats buddy!

Don't let anything discourage you, be proud! I can tell you the first year was a bit difficult for me because I felt like I was stuck in this between phase where I looked super androgynous. I got bloated and got really discouraged and thought I would never pass. Luckily I was able to get my top surgery and start working out a bit. I didn't think I'd make it to where I am now but reading these forums and other peoples experiences helped me cope with what I was going through. Changes are different for everybody let the T do it's magic :). Get yourself on a good diet and work out plan and keep your mind busy.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

Congrats on being T months in! I sympathize with you on the acne. I've always had acne, and nothing would ever completely cure it. Products would dry my skin out, but I'd still get oily breakouts as well. I guess my acne never got too severe, but it was still worse than most of the other kids in school, so it made me very self-conscious. I've lucked out, and my T treatment has almost completely resolved this issue. My skin has never been so close to clear in my life. Although most people seem to say T made them get oily for a few years and then it clears.

As far as the voice, I'm a year and a half in, but I don't think my treatment has been typical (being under-dosed and not receiving proper blood tests to check my T levels). My voice dropped a very tiny bit in the beginning, but that's been it. Like, I might put up with just a bit more acne if my voice would actually change...

Good luck, seems like you're getting pretty decent results for just two months, I'm sure 6 months in, you'll be feeling great.
