Did she not test me for T levels?

So I got my Labs back today and I see no mention of testosterone on them. I got a test called a CBC done and another one called Heptic Function Panal. One is to check my blood cell health and the other for my liver. I'm not seeing anywhere on here my hormone levels... I 100% trust my doctor because she's the head of a trans health wing in MA but like....shouldn't she have check my T levels...? Did she forget this or is she assuming that since I've had no adverse side effects and lots of positive changes that I don't need my levels checked?

I'm honestly just really dyeing to know how much T I have coursing through me. Kind of a pissing match ya know?

If your still on a starter dose or you have been steady for a long time, there may not be a need to test T. If you are still in the adjustment stage, I agree T should have been tested. I have something similar going on with Estradiol. Sometimes I get a lab order without it on it so I need to call and have another lab order issued. In my case, I am still trying to get the dosage optimized and without Estradiol, I only have half the picture.

I haven't had my T levels checked yet and am still on the same dose that I started on 3 months ago. Again, I am more just curious as to 1. why she didn't check them and 2. wanting to know what they are to satisfy my own curiosity. I also asked to go up a dose in my appointment and she said if my bloodwork comes back good then I can go up. So you'd think she would check it...

Same situation here.

It seems, in my opinion based solely on observation, that larger trans healthcare programs may be streamlined for cost-effectiveness and general bodily safety, based on what's worked best. Kind of like a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Which is a bit odd in my opinion, but I'm grateful the service was available in such an adorable and accessible way.

More specifically, in my experience, I'm getting care at an LGBT center with a full clinic and trans healthcare program, as opposed to an Endocrinologist.

I was started on standard regular doses, not like a low dose adjustment or anything, and all my panels were for other health levels, not hormones

Could have just been the person forgot to print off that particular part of the blood test results; which is what happened to me. Or could be that they didn't feel you needed to be tested. Which you should have been. Anyway to request a do over?

Yeah, I would expect them to check two things each time, hematocrit and T level, they're supposed to to be aiming to get your levels up to a "male" range, and to make sure your blood isn't becoming too thick from it.

Maybe they missed printing out that part, ask her for it?

After doing some research, the liver function test has indicators on it that directly correlate to T levels. So instead of doing a 3rd test I assume she jsut looked for the indicators on the 2nd test. The office also called me yesterday saying that my T levels were in the mid-male range and my estrogen were in the female range. So clearly she knows what she's doing.

Did you get a chance to talk about the Estrogen level out of curiosity? I'm wondering if it keeps gradually dropping over time so most of the time you don't have to worry about it or if it isn't trending lower well enough when the doc would talk about potentially using a blocker.

I didn't get to ask her but she did raise my dose slightly so It is most likely trending down.
