Hi everyone.
My name is Steph.

I transitioned 2 years ago and have pretty much just got on with life. I would love to hear from anyone and would dearly love to make some Transgender friends.

Hi Steph, after years of repressed feelings and depression, I have come to realize I am transgender and want to be a woman. Happy to be your friend!

Hi Steph,

I'm Jeanette, an old mtf (64) fairly new to HRT and this trans stuff. I'm your self appointed greeter also. Soooo...

Hi Steph and welcome to Susan's place. What took you so long to find us? huh? Two whole years past transition and you are just now coming to see us? Well, no matter. Come in , come on it and find a seat. Get comfy and tell us all about you. You can read our posts and maybe share some of your thoughts and wisdom on what it's like for us that are just beginning our journeys. Got questions? There's quite a few people here that will try to help an others that will just listen if that is your need.
Me? I'm somewhat of an open book here. I tend to come here for the support with my little trials and tribulations. I feel I've become a drama queen since starting HRT and my emotions have become more intense.  I share my fears and receive support and reassurances that I'll be okay. When I'm distraught I get shoulders to cry on. And when I'm under control and feeling better I greet new folks and get silly.
I am glad you are here finally and hope you'll make a home of Susan's Place.

  Hugs,
   Jeanette

Hi, Steph!  Welcome to the site.  Lots of folks here from your part of the world, and I bet some of them can help you out.

I hope you feel welcome here.

I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to take a look, please take a moment to go through them.

Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around, ask questions and join in.
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

WOW!

Thanks girls!!
What a lovely welcome.
I only bought a tablet two months ago and have only just started surfing the web. This is really new to me.
I knew from age 5 I was a girl.
My transition 2 years ago was the obvious choice as I would have ended my life more than likely had I not done so. I just could not face life presenting as a male anymore.
I thought about how much hurt I might cause my whole life without thinking of the hurt I was doing to myself.
So Stephanie Joantha finally grew up and here I am.
I now live + work as Steph full time. Am undergoing laser and electrolysis. Have my passport with my true female identity and am researching 2 surgeons for my upcoming referral for GRS.
Although I have some lovely friends I have never had friends who experience life as I do.
I feel very lonely sometimes.
I wish very much to change that.
Thank you all so much.
Bless you.

Hi Steph,

Well you have certainly found the right place to connect with others like you. We have good people here  ranging from those just curiously testing the waters to those that have years of post transition experience under their skirts. Like I said before come on in and make yourself at home because you are home here.

Hugs,

Thank you so much girls.
Can I ask how I can send replies to messages?
I don't seem to be able to and there doesn't seem to be a help link.

Thanx.

Message are covered in the help but it's pretty difficult to dig out. You were presented with a set of greeting links in follow up post #4 that explains it but simply it takes 15 quality posts before your profile will unlock and you gain most of the features.
Rebirth Date 1982 - PMs are welcome - Use dena@susans.org or Discord if your unable to PM - Skype is available - My Transition
If you are helped by this site, consider leaving a tip in the jar at the bottom of the page or become a subscriber
