My Name is Earl, for one, recently put out a casting call looking for "real transvestites who are legitimately living the lifestyle."

As opposed to one of those annoying faux transvestites who would ruin that bracing, documentary quality otherwise possessed by the Jason Lee sitcom.

Another call went out for a "true, attractive transvestite" to appear in Miss Nobody, a dark feature comedy starring Crossing Jordan's Leslie Bibb, Adam Goldberg and Kathy Baker.

Education is in order.  I truly wonder if whomever is aware of the gaffe of referring to the transgenders they seek by the tainted term 'transvestite.'
