Being misgendered is one of my peeves. For real, it sets me off inside. It can crush my day. It shouldn't, but it does. I will say that it does not happen hardly at all anymore, but when it does ...even if a genuine mistake...it really bothers me.
I wear dresses/skirts daily for work. I work in a professional office building....it just fits to wear that type of thing daily. My face doesn't read girl, to me. I mean if I shaved my head I don't think someone would look at a head picture of me, without makeup, and say "woman". The vast majority of women I know could shave their head and still be gendered female. So, long hair, attire, demeanor, vocabulary, posture, boobs, and voice go a LONG way to avoid being misgendered for me.
