It started when I was 8 I knew something was off but didn't quite know, the next 7 years was a confused mess uncertainty. I stumble upon a website and find out transitioning is a thing. Goes to the back of my mind repressed until I was 18 at work... my boss says, "thank you sir" I break down in tears, my very confused boss sends me home. I tell my... well because I don't want to get into other longer irrelevant stories I'm gonna say she's my "mom". I tell her I want to transition and was just starting hrt. Get kicked out... homeless with my lover, he is the only one there for me. Still there for me. Basically transitioning made me have to start my whole life over again

Transitioning is wonderful. Estrogen worked a miracle on me. It's not the best life, but I'm moving forward and already almost stable again after a year in a tent. Have yet to figure out what the stares from strangers mean. Wanna straighten out my sex drive because it's wrecked. Need a therapist. Happy with fat displacement. Body is curveopolis. Face is decent am like a 9/10 pass but gonna be guarantee to pass I think in a few more years .
9/10 average experience I suppose :/

Good idea, and congratulations for taking charge of your life.

In your case, you landed on your feet, but I wish there was a way to warn transgender people to BE QUIET about it at first around parents, spouses, family, or anyone who could try to stop, or punish them.

Better to quietly google a LGBTQ center, get some counseling, start hormones, and just transition without calling attention to it. By the time they notice any physical changes, you'll be well on your way.
In the meantime, you can casually identify transphobic relatives by remarks they make when a Caitlyn Jenner news piece comes on.

I planned on doing it quietly but CVS called n said my scrip was ready and ruined everything at the time, "mom" picked up that phone one thing lead to another. Fortunately I'm resourceful enough to live properly even living in a tent. The one thing that stuck in my mind that my "mom" had said to me was, "you don't deserve to be a girl". But basically Every right wing conservative Catholic extremist is transphobic and I should've been a sneakier skunk and took more precautions to her not finding out. Oh well, live and learn
