Thirty one years sober

I quit drinking on this day in 1986. Alcohol had taken the abilty to control my life away from me. I took it back.  :)

Dayum!! Devlyn congrats!

  You must have started drinking as an toddler and stopped as a teen. It's great you realized it was a problem at a young age and took care of it.  All it take is one day at a time.


  I've only got 18 under my belt.

Aug 26, 2017 another increase in estradiol
Jun  26, 2017 Last day in male attire That's full time I guess
May 20, 2017 doubled estradiol
May 18, 2017 started electrolysis
Dec   4, 2016 Started estradiol and spironolactone

Congratulations ^^ that's something really good! I may be young, but i also definitely already made some mistakes in the use of alcohol. Luckily a friend of mine got me out of there before it was too late.

Thanks! I was 12 the first time I drank, I quit at 24 after blowing a .27 on the breathalyzer at Fort Bliss.

  Good for you Devlyn It took me a few more years of research to figure out I had a problem. I was 47 when I finally got my DUII

( The cooler in the back seat always stocked with beer should have been a clue)

Way to go Devlyn. You got a year on me girl, I hit thirty years sober this year and I celebrated with a nice cup of tea.

Bless you girl. Way to go. I had to do it the hard way. 40 years of drinkin and druggin. I just made 2. The great part is we all do it one day at a time and y'all show thats possible and neccesary. Congrats!
