Well, I'm not sure if it's good news but I'm on a waiting list for vocal therapy at a local university's Speech and Language clinic. No idea how long the wait list is, but hoping worst case scenario something will open up at the end of the semester when the students go home for summer.

In the meantime I'll keep searching for a speech pathologist somewhere nearby that has transgender experience, but so far that's been harder to locate than I thought it would be.

I had problems with wait lists and trainers going on maternity leave in my area. The place I ended up finding got me in right away (I did have to wait 2 weeks for my first session because I was getting signed up right over the holidays and no times were available) and not only was it the most reasonably priced, but offered a free intro lesson. My coach is fantastic and offers Skype sessions for people who are too far to drive. It's definitely an option if you don't want to wait/ can't find anyone good in your area. Shoot me a PM if you info.
Up and away and off I go to lose my mind and find my soul.
