Anxiety disorders are associated with:

1. High IQ
2. high creativity
3. androgynous traits. Perhaps conflicting male and female hormones are the source of the problems.
4. traits 1 through 3 are closely associated

I would start with checking for hormone disregulation
I had massive T and E fluxes, and discovered ovo-testes-tumors were the issue.
Once removed anxiety, major depressive episodes, and panic attacks disapeared immediately.

Dear God!  I didn't know this connection existed, but I am an anxious mess.  So it makes sense, I guess!  [emoji12]
