Is sex less fun when post op? (mtf)

Just wondering if surgery makes things less pleasurable or whatever. I have no need to know at the moment, as I am still a virgin and also don't plan on having my sex changed yet, but I'm considering it maybe in ten or so years.

I would say it feels more "correct" at least in my situation. For years I've felt that I should be at the receiving end and trying it from the other side just felt wrong.

Oh I'm far far happier with my downstairs stuff now.  Honestly I suspect preoccupation with sex before can have a detrimental effect on those that get srs... just my biased opinion, but something I've noticed over the decades talking to post op women.  Not always, of course, but often.

I would say it's more fulfilling and more satisfying for me as a woman now having the right plumbing particularly as I'm now a married woman married to a straight man.
Waking up in the middle of the night beside my hunk, with the right equipment I'm now on the receiving from a guy who can certainly give it, then he goes off to sleep again with that satisfied smirk on his face, not so much fun as such, but a great feeling just being a woman in everyway, having that effect on him in that way that only a woman can.

For me, its way more fun.. my vagina was the best money I ever spent.

I only had sex once as a male and it was weird penetrating and not really enjoyable, been penetrated is a different story. The female orgasm is amazing and I do get a little loud.

I am with a straight guy and we have a very active sex life. I love playing the submissive role in sex. My man says the doc did a very good job with my vagina...

Vaginal sex for me is more enjoyable than anal, I experimented when I was pre-op with my ex..

So basically you're saying that it's better to mostly wait on the sex until after surgery? Just want to make sure I understand.

Hmm I don't know of it's necessarily better to wait. I think it depends how bad your dysphoria is and your sex drive. Before I transitioned I hooked up with guys and enjoyed it. Actually I was a little hoe when it came to boys. Then about 3 months into hrt my sex drive just crashed. I wasn't that interested in sex like I had been. I really liked kissing and petting with a guy and I would usually suck him but I really didnt care much about getting off myself.  I"m dating a guy now and its pretty much the same deal. But I am totally looking forward to vaginal sex.

True. My dysphagia isn't as bad as some, but its still obviously ->-bleeped-<-. But the dysphagia is mostly about my body rather than what's down there anyways, so I really wouldn't mind doing things I guess pre-surgery. That way I can decide if I want to keep what's down there or not. Like it is way easier to pee as a male lol

It is easier to pee as a male but after you transition you're gonna  pretty much lose that. When you present as female you totally don't want to be in the ladies room and just whip it out. I sit down all the time even when I'm alone. For me standing up to pee would feel really weird at this point.

I personally sit to pee every time even when im presenting as male to me just feels right plus when i do eventually get my surgery it wont be as much of a transition

I have always been very sexual but since hormones it's the last thing on my mind.   I do not care for sex the way I've always had it and I despise the part I can't wait to change even more.   I too am very curious as to what sex after surgery will be like.   I am in a serious relationship and my lack of interest though not in him just sex all together is causing problems.  I just don't know what to think about it

I don't know any way to keep the drive without stopping hrt. After hrt my sex drive totally crashed. But its not like a big deal to me. I still hook up with guys. Just not nearly as often as before.

Aw too bad. I'm 15 so it's basically the sexual peak for men.

If you want to have sex, you still can. The difference is that it's not constantly on your mind.

My experience was I had a much more rewarding (masculine equipped) sex life in my 40s-50s than I'd had before and my teen years were nothing to write home about, stamina notwithstanding.

Hrt did initially rob my sex drive and what brought it back for me was adding progesterone to my regimen - some women find they need a bit of testosterone. The one thing that's for sure would be that different women respond differently to both HRT and GCS.

I'm at 7 weeks post op and was extremely happy to find myself just yesterday feeling turned on and so I spent some time getting myself off and really enjoyed it. My neocltoris is still far too sensitive to stimulate directly but I have to say at this point the signs are pretty darn good.
