all the ladies have been walking past work, the good the bad and the ugly (clothes wise) . major dysphoria moments and just wanting to walk around myself as myself. It wont kill me but could do without this  . Better now as jumped in the shower and changed into my denim skirt and a nice blue and white horizontal striped short sleeved top

Ewww yeah I know how that goes.  Sorry to hear about it.  Maybe there is some good in the fact that I work alone in an office with no windows to the outside world. :) Glad you found a way to feel better though!!

Not helping that I have overworked myself , every spare moment spent on my VW welding and we have been flat out at work. I forget I am not 20 something anymore and working on cars for the last 47 years has taken its toll. But the brain is still 20 something so that keeps me going, just the body is wrong-------

Totally know where you're coming from.  I'm volunteering at in the US Open this week.  I'm cashiering in the merchandise tent and the women supervisors  (the people actually getting paid) have an awesome skirt as part of their uniform.  I'm having to do this in male mode as I had to sign up for this well over a year ago which was before I even thought I could think about transition. Busy enough to not have to think about it much but every time one of them comes by my head screams I want that skirt!

I feel you, honey.  I can't wait to feel confident to wear skirts and dresses and anything that reveals even a hint of skin.  Now that summer is here, I've been feeling very dysphoric with the swimsuit issue.  I need to keep reminding myself that all cis women deal with their own issues of confidence, appearance, comparison, longing, etc.

I realize that there may be a different sense for you because of visibility (I don't know where you are at with being open or out), but know that the feelings of insecurity is actually a trademark of being a woman!

Yeah.  My car is at the fairgrounds right now.  And as I thought, it's actually a golf skort and I could buy it there.  Not for $75 though.

Yeah $75 for a skort you could probably get at Champion or Dicks for $45 seems excessive.

I also am not a fan of skorts in general so even for $45  I'd need to be able to wear it away from the golf course.
