I'm almost a month on estradiol, 2 months on spiro, and still feel nothing in my chest :(

I'd wait another month and then maybe see the doctor and ask for an adjustment, if possible. I remember getting growth after about 1.5-2 months starting estrogen, I can't remember exactly, it was back in 2004! Be a little patient too...

Charlie Nicki,

It was somewhere in my third month of e and s that both my emotions went crazy and my breast became sensitive and started growing. By the way, I just hit 13 months and they are still growing albeit slowly. And this for a old lady in her upper 60's and of course, ymmv. Just be patient and enjoy your ride.

I have question, how much do your nipples grow? Hopefully my doctor will go for HRT[Medicare]. So if he does I was wondering because mine are tiny[ARG...].
I finally get to be me, and I don't want today to be my last! That's a very nice feeling.  ;D ;D ;D

Some girls get enormous nipples while others like me just get a little enlargement and they remain pale pink. It all depends on your genetics. Odds are you will get some growth but beyond that, it's anybodies guess.

Mine started around dime size for the areola, they have now made it to roughly a half dollar size.  I'm still disappointed in the development of my breasts.  While I can finally notice them, my gut makes them look almost nonexistent.  Still losing weight, and hope it will help.

Thank you girls, I'm visiting the doctor on Tuesday so I'll ask to up my dosage. Maybe that will also make things faster.

Lady Lisandra, all girls have pointed breasts when they first start developing, later year or more they will become more rounded.

Mine come and go but the growth has been steady. As others have stated it depends on what your body does. Everyone is different.

Anne, that is somewhat a relief hear.  I am just over the 2 month mark on Estradiol and1 month on Spiro.  So far no real noticeable sensitivity or real tenderness in my nipples or breast.  Though If I actually rub my nipples they are sore, but that is only when I actively touch them and rub them.  I don't go back to see my GD until next month.  She did increase my Estradiol after 1 month, to my current dosage.  If she is ammenable to it, I will ask about increasing my dosage again then.

She did say that she was not planning on checking my T-levels or E-levels again until then.  She has not checked my E-levels yet since I started Estradiol.

I've never had any sensitivity, tenderness or pain. At about the four month mark, my moobs started swelling and gained another 2" across the breast. I'm about nine months in and haven't seen much change since the end of the fifth month.

All the best,

In my 13 yrs of HRT, every time I had breast pain/growth, they only hurt *if pressed upon*.

Mine started in the one month mark and just became more and more sore. I'm on month 3 next week and still can't bare to lay on my stomacch or swipe my chest.

I'm not yet on HRT, but I have this habit where I cup my chest to see if there's any difference at this time (I've been eating a lot of soy with the hopes that it would do ~something~) and so I hope that doesn't cause any pain in the future when I finally do start HRT...

Excess soy consumption can interfere with thyroid function and eventually breast development/growth and overall feminization. Be careful.

p.s.: I'm not a doctor but it's what I read in some studies.

I am 15 months and started with pain and itching at 3 weeks. I have always had growth. I now wear mostly B-cup bras because they are nice and snug. My C-cups are okay but just not snug. I have had lots of growth in the nipples and areolas -- lots of protrusion now. The internal itching has never stopped. Lately I have had a lot of the "electric shock" sensation inside both breasts that can be reduced with a little massaging. The women on my mother's side are all large breasted so I don't know how far I will get on this skinny frame. A little scary, I have to admit...

Well from what I am experiencing, some of you have asked if the pain is associated with growth. I think it is, but i am not positive. I know with mine it has been slow and subtle growth with the associated pain. I believe it is just like growth spurts when you are a teen and have that pain before. So the pain is a good thing even though it is a pain (hehhehe, excuse the pun). Yes, all of us women are different we all grow at different rates, different sizes, different shapes, and various nipple size. It has many factors that we don't all understand, but it all works out even if you cheat as someone mentioned. I will cheat myself once the breasts have settled and stop growing. At which point I will choose how large to go. I may not need it, I don't know yet. So far I am happy with my breast growth and all the changes.

Well I think the pain started around 3 months (I would have to thumb through my journal to be sure but around 3) and at 20 now they can still hurt just as bad. Although I am really physically active and they get bumped, crushed, smushed, squished, pressed constantly at work and all of that HURTS allot, like face grimace hurt. So yeah mine still hurt but I can't tell from what.
