Stealth Life

Anyone living the stealth life already?  I'm barely a year on T and I've had everything legally changed and I moved.  So, now I love completely I'm stealth (outside of friends and family). 

I know a lot of people are big into the community and are very visible (I think that's great by the way.  It's just not what I want out of life).  But I was wanting to know how life is treating people who have almost stepped away from identifying as trans and and just live as their gender.

It's been a tough transition into being stealth. I started a new job almost a year ago and nobody knows I'm trans. It's been hard fitting in with the guys as I'm not a fan of that banter one upmanship bs; but I think I'm mainly accepted now. I still feel like I can't be completely myself and that's stressful sometimes; but probably just due to being a closeted enby.

I'd love to move further away to be completely myself and to not have any reminders of being pre transitioned; but at least for now I can cope a lot better and find things easier to deal with than before.

Yeah when I say I took a new job I mean I moved clear across the country where people outside of my circle don't know about me or my past.  I've always kind of kept to myself anyway, so I don't have to deal too much with some of the more cruse "masculine-esque" things you're referring to.  And for the most part, people in my new area are exceptionally nice and down to earth.  So, I don't run into as much of the sludge.

I had all my id changed and I try to be stealth. But there are people who knew me before so it's not totally successful.  Im starting college this fall and I really hope I can be stealth at school but I'm like sure I will probably run into someone there who knew me before. On the plus side people who know Im trans or find out that I am really don't seem to care. I think they probably labeled me a freak already because of my eyes and skin and figured one more freaky thing about me didn't make much difference.

I have a lot of love for you embracing yourself as you are though.  Love and let live is. Great way to do it in my opinion.  Congratulations on getting it changed though
