Singing voice and Testostrone?

I think I asked a question about this a while ago but I should be getting my letter this weekend for Testostrone but I am still nervous as I love to sing and I came a long way singing, I sing alto and tenor mainly, do you think it would have that much of an affect on my voice?

It'll definitely drop your voice lower. Mine went down about an octave, but it's hard to know how much yours will change because everyone is different. Don't be worried if you have trouble hitting notes or if your voice breaks and is hard to control. I've been on T for a bit more than a year and I still can't control my upper range very well. I've heard it can take a couple years to settle down, but I can absolutely still sing. I just have to stay in my range.

I also sang Alto/ tenor pre-T. Now, almost 6 months in I am 100% a baritone/ low tenor while casually singing. I'm a baritone or bass when I'm really concentrating. I can't hit any of my soprano notes anymore and I get the occasional Alto note but it doesn't sound as good or come as easily.

I don't think this is anything to cry over though. I remember taking pride in being the only "female" in the tenor section as a kid and having a lower voice then the other boys. It was a real bummer as I got older and the boys voices kept dropping and mine stayed the same. Now, on T, I have a deep enough voice that I could have been in the bass or baritone section with the other boys. Its a whole new way to sing and I'm still getting used to it. I just revel when my GF turns to me while we're singing in the car and goes " wow your voice!". I just smile real big and keep singing.

Basically what he said. I'm around 10mo on T and I was devestated when I couldnt sing for a while. I can totally sing now if it's not high pitched, but I'm slowly getting some control over that too. Time will tell!

This is my only true concern about getting on testosterone at this point. I love to sing and it is a huge part of who I am.

Classically I'm considered a soprano, but I can go down into tenor range and was actually asked to sing tenor a few times in college choir. I know I can't keep all those high notes, but I'm just hoping my range broadens again after my voice settles a bit. I'm also hoping my classical training will help keep my voice healthy through the changes.

Ultimately, I'm really excited to see what happens to my voice. I think it will be an interesting challenge to relearn how to sing.

If you're anything like me, there will be a point where controlling your voice at all will be very difficult.
I'm at 2 months on T now, my voice is slowly but surely starting to drop, and I can't control my voice at all, whether it be in my pre-T range or the newer range or anywhere in between. I've never been very good at controlling my voice honestly, but any smidge of control that I had is completely gone now and I sound like one of those screaming goats whenever I sing in the shower.

It's a good thing I have vocal synthesizers to do the vocals in my songs for me, or else I'd be doomed right now.

I used to be able to sing in tune (I'm just a regular, non-trained guy), but after 8 months on T, my voice is all over the place.  Now I can only sometimes sing in tune, even when I try, but more often than not, I find I'm unable to. 

I know its because my voice is still changing, but it feels weird to try and sing in the car and find that I sometimes can't!
