I just want to say hello to every one.  At this time I'm am taking hormones and I wonder how I need to change my eating habbits. I'm average build for a guy, and I hate that I was born a male. But thats what I hope the homones will change.  I'm 5-8 , 158 lbs. I just get sick to my stomach when I look in the mirror and see myself standing there. I know every person is different and thats why I would like to hear from some of you to help me figure this out.  I dont want to eat the wrong things and slow the development of my hips, thighs and all the other parts of me that need to develope.  Should I avoid certain foods ? Fatty foods ?  Should I eat low in fat foods ? Fish, chicken , pastas, certain veggies ? I'm taking  of spiro a day. Estradiol Valerate, injected of course. And Finasteride. All as my endo prescribed.  I'm not real big in size. Kinda on the slim side. So what should I plan on eating  so that hopefully all the curves will start to develope.  Any and all advise will be greatly appreciated.

first, you will not develop a wider pelvis, but you will deposit some fat (usually not much) on what hips you have.  Your butt will bubble, breasts will develop, and the fat on the rest of your body will increase in some areas and decrease in others, in a gender-appropriate manner.  Your face, in particular, will become rounder, softer, more feminine.  Your muscle mass  body-wide will decrease dramatically.

Your diet should be sensible, like all women, your intake should be less than the typical man your height, weight, and age.  Eat lots of fresh veggies and fruits, including tomatoes (processed is best).  Eat enough lean meat.  Low Fat.  Then, once a week, cheat!

Bust of luck.

Eat well balanced meals and avoid things like drugs and alcohol (or at least do not go to excess all of the time) and you will do fine.

watch the tomatoes if you're on medications that retain potassium

True.....also watch potassium-rich bananas

Like I've said before, carbs are evil! Every 5 lbs I hit a roadblock, I'm 5'9" at 135, was 130 2 months ago but that was only for a few days. I try to avoid bread and pasta, but it's tough.
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

I just find this so funny.
Your making the same mistake most women are doing.
If you avoid carb, you lose lean mass, diminish metabolism
and can eat less before you gain weight.

The key to keeping the weight down is building muscle
mass in the core, buttocks and upper leg areas.
These are powerful hungry muscles, which actually
enhance femininity by making your buttocks and hips look wider
and your waist more defined.

If you keep dieting without building muscle pretty soon you'll
gain weight even by eating salad!

I'm so skinny and have such a quick metabolism that I probably will have to eat MORE....I have no idea how that would be possible. On the plus side, my metabolic rate might change and become a bit more normal...Who knows? I actually have so little fat in my body that once I sugar crash, my body has no other energy to take, so I almost black out sometimes...

Hehheheeh.... :D...eehehheh.....
