As part of my progression I would love to go to work every day as Sinclair -- my true self. Anyone here in central Florida know of trans friendly companies? I'm tired of working with salty rednecks and want to find a safe work place. Any suggestions? I really want to do this. Tired of changing clothes. Help, please!!  :icon_chick:

Usbank? Any other top 100 LGBT-friendly companies? I've seen transpeople working at Walmart, Target and Golden Coral (chain restaurant)

I would add Starbucks and Costco to the list.

Be careful about working at any job with face to face public contact. It only takes one bad customer to ruin your day.

In my opinion the best trans friendly jobs are technical in nature where your are valued for your mental abilities and not your personal appearance. Medical, IT, and any other job that both men and women can work together as equals.

Don't forget owning your own business. You get to call the shots.

Macy's too!!! ...I'm just south of Silicon Valley and know of many transwomen in tech jobs... There is a Meetup group called Transcode that helps train transfolk to do coding... I know several girls doing drone pilot work too!!!

"The individual has always had to struggle from being overwhelmed by the tribe... But, no price is too high for the privilege of owning yourself" ... Rudyard Kipling 🌸

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸

It might help to include a little more what you are looking for and maybe a bit closer area.
Companies coming to my mind is NBC Universal (for example Golf Channel is in Florida or one of the Ressorts in Orlando). Very strong LGBT group.
You could also check Booz Allen Hamilton - also with a great LGBT policy.
If you are looking in Boca, I may know some more depending on what you are looking for. Send me a PM about that one if you are interested.
