Dr. Sherman Leis did my correction (revision) surgery of Dr. Pichet's work, and he (the former!) was excellent!
Dr. Leis has excellent bedside manner, he's a very civilized and spirited guy overall. He did have an assistant working with him who I guess will succeed his practice eventually. Dr. Leis is old, but his energy and skill will delight and impress you. Recovery in the private apartments he rents out was very comfortable and affordable.
He even helped me phone-conference with my health insurance when they initially refused to cover my revision. I remember him saying how they had the photos and asking, "Does this look even remotely normal to you? Does it even look male OR female?" Eventually the insurance ended up covering about 75% of it.
What he fixed - I had a protruding urethral meatus, a poorly-done, non-sensate 'clitoris', and too much bulbo-cavernosa and corpus-cavernosa muscle. Despite Pichet's due reputation as "the butcher of Bangkok", to his credit he actually was successful at creating the vaginal canal with my limited existing tissue, and managed to preserve the sensate nerve endings - when I indicated where these were to Dr. Leis, he was likewise able to preserve them and set them into natural areas all along my new vulva.
I'd recommend Dr. Leis and most likely his apprentice as well! I hear good things about Dr. McGinn as well, who is of course also in the same area.
