Going back to gender therapy?

Even though I've been feeling progressively better about my transition and seeing myself as a man, I've still got a lot of hang-ups, doubts, etc. Sometimes they vanish completely and I'm happy; other times they overwhelm me entirely and I feel like I'm back at square one.

So even though I'm past 1 year on T, I am most likely going to back to gender therapy to work out these residual, unresolved issues.

Has anyone else done this?

Not looking for advice or anything, just curious if I'm the only one, haha.

This is a very normal and very real part of the process. It's good that you're opting to return to therapy instead of shutting down or hopping on that wild roller coaster of over-analyzing (a ****** ride we all go on eventually) everything.

Sorry I can't offer more but just know you're not an anomaly and what you're going through is valid.

I go to the free therapy through university and it is relaxing to have someone to talk to about this and that and who knows you are trans so you don't have to carefully watch what you say. I find therapy the second time around to be less stressful since you are not looking to get letters out of them thus you are not impatient. They were also helpful when I was getting my gender changed on my license by signing official paperwork.

I will concur with the other guys. I would consider it perfectly normal and part of the process to return to my therapist whenever I feel the need to talk to somebody who has only my best interests at heart.
